I received an iPad for Christmas and decided to get a 2nd power supply. I ordered this one in part to see if Amazon was actually selling a counterfeit. It came today and appears to be the "real thing". It has a metal "pillar", weighs over 2 oz, looks just like the one that came with my iPad, and is marked "made by Apple". It charges my iPad as well as my iPhone and iPod.

The one I ordered was listed as "sold by Wegoole".

Obviously, I can't speak to the other suppliers but Wegoole seems to be selling a genuine Apple product.
